Information We Collect

Non-public Personal Information includes information about you the member, transactions with the credit union, and information obtained from a consumer-reporting agency and/or public records. This information may be collected by a loan application or as the result of other services requested by you.  The credit union does not disclose Non-public Personal Information except as allowed by law.

Verifying Your Identity

As required by the USA PATRIOT ACT...IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
- When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
- We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Information We Disclose

The credit union does not disclose information to "Non-Affiliated Third Parties", except as allowed by law. This may include information necessary to offer member services such as check printing, data processing services, or marketing of the credit union products and services. These companies are obligated to keep such information confidential. Local 219 Federal Credit Union does not sell information about our members. On occasion, we may offer products and services we feel would be of benefit to the membership, however, delivery of such offers is under the control of Local 219 Federal Credit Union.

On Line Privacy

Local 219 Federal Credit Union provides our on- line Loan Application form If you link to another web site from the credit union's web page, we cannot be held responsible for any information you may give. We do require however, that sites we allow links with, have policies similar to ours regarding your right to privacy. E-mail is not secure, and therefore, any correspondence submitted by e-mail should be used for inquires of a non-confidential matter.

Online Application

Local 219 Federal Credit Union provides an online Loan Application form to better serve the needs of our members. Personal information provided by the member via the online Loan Application form, is sent to us on secure lines, and is used solely to process the member's request for service.
